The Bodies Exhibit
I have the wonderful opportunity to go to The Bodies Exhibit in NYC. It was a great drawing opportunity. I gained a lot of info on the human anatomy. I really got up close and really observed the bodies. The exhibit took over 10 years to fabricate with hundreds of actual human body parts. I think my favorite sections were the circulatory and gestational rooms. It was truly fascinating seeing how quickly a baby grows from 9-15 weeks. The 9 week baby was barely the size of my thumb and then at the 15 week mark the baby had soft bones and you can clearly see features! Even looking at the various tumors, cancers and strokes were interesting. I highly recommend going when you can!
