XBox Has Been Defeated

Some of you people may know I work at one of the Camp Inventions.

I finally got the broken XBOX apart with the help of Matt and Bryce.

After repeated drops and hammering; we cracked it open. I was left with it to handle the rest.

I arrived. I conquered. It is no longer recognizable as an XBOX. It is beautiful.

( you can vaguely see the original XBOX design pressed in the metal plate! )

I still drew a TON more at Falcon Ridge so here are some more shots of my sketch book:

Here is one I drew at the 19th Falcon Ridge from last year:

on a completely unrelated note....

I twisted open this oreo and it did this:

Falcon Ridge Folk Festival

I just got back from Falcon Ridge today! Here are some things from my journey!

( Max's handy work. )

( this is called Falcon Ridge Goddess, she took me about 5 or so hours with on and off breaks )

This is Buck. He is the coolest thing to come from Connecticut. He's playing Belt by Say Anything!

Buck and Jesse playing a W.I.P. song that Jesse wrote called 'Poor Man'

( first day pre-set up )

( After seeing my friend Chris and his AMAZING charcoal work I decided to try to step outside my comfort zone. )

( I drew these on Tuesday when I was waiting in line )

Here are a few shots of Buck

( Bret the Juggler tried to teach me to juggle! I was horrible and I almost hit Jesse in the face! )

( Jay attempting to teach Katie to spray toothbrush water)

( Max and his beloved kazoo )

Old Sketches & Haircut

(my little homage to Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain )

( my old sketch book )

Now I'm off to Falcon Ridge Folk Festival!

Here's a picture I took last year from the Workshop Stage.

Click it; the thumbnail really does not do it justice.

I'll return in about a week or so with pictures and drawings!

Take Care!

Splintered Nothing

First post.
Title ripped from The Random Title Generator.

So I guess I started this to keep in touch with my sister.
Cause you know....like. She's pregnant and all that fun stuff.... HORRAY CHILD BIRTH!
-but if you want to read about her; go to her Prego Blog-o-Wonder.

This is my art.

PICTURES:

(my new sketch book)

(page one of my new book...)

( left; flower ideas and two sets of wings right;my good friend Kristin with her flower crown)

( a postcard I made that I sent to Germany via Postcrossing )

( a drawing of my hands in various positions from art class my Sophomore year; the beads are from a necklace Amy got me as a gift )

( sketch I drew on the computer in MSPaint or something dumb.)

( Actual religious candle thinger I painted with some crappy fabric paint I had lying around. I wanted to sell it, but everyone thought 5 dollars was too expensive. All of my friends are poor and I already give them art for free.I should stop doing that. Oh well, I gave it to a teacher before summer started. I kindof miss it...)

( Ville Valo [H.I.M.] I drew in Chemistry; because we all know Chemistry sucks.)

( I found this when I was cleaning out my notebook during Finals. It's cute. It reminds of Ein from Cowboy Bebop. )

( my friend Kristoffer (whom I met through Kristin) who lives in Norway. Don't tell him I put his photo here, haha. )
